SDA members are essential workers who have worked on the frontline throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. You have worked hard to provide service to Australians so they could put food on the table but you have also played a huge role in helping to keep the community safe.

You have adapted quickly to new safety measures from masks and screens to social distancing and faced unacceptable abuse from customers. Without SDA union members like you, many safety measures designed to protect workers during the pandemic would never have been put in place.

The SDA has always worked to make your workplace safer but this year has highlighted just how critical it is for your health and safety to be the number one priority at work. We want to hear more about safety in your store so we can continue our push for safer workplaces.
