New EBA Proposal Secures Important Improvements for Barbeques Galore Workers
A proposed new Barbeques Galore Agreement has been finalised.
The SDA will be in stores in the coming weeks to brief you on the proposal and ensure you know what is included in the proposed Agreement before you have your say.
The proposal secures important improvements, including:
- A 1.25% premium above Retail Award rates by the end of the Agreement
- Paid tea breaks increased to 15 minutes
- Inclusion of a status quo provision in the disputes clause
- Secure Jobs, Better Pay Legislative changes reflected in the Agreement
You should have access to the proposed Agreement shortly and the SDA will be providing information summaries on the major changes from the current Agreement.
